We stayed at the retreat for 3 nights at the end of August, 2021. We invited 3 other couples to join us. Our stay was absolutely fabulous. We are all foodies and each guest couple made a dinner while we made the breakfasts. The house has the best equipped kitchen I have seen in any short-term rental. The quality and vibe of the entire house is superb and between the fabulous meals we thoroughly enjoyed cocktails on the deck, playing pool, relaxing around the outdoor fire pit and soaking in the hot tub amongst the trees. Combined with a few hikes in the area…needless to say it was a fun filled few days. We very much look forward to a future stay.
This place is absolutely amazing. Might even go so far as to say there’s something magical about it. We travelled there in June 2021 as a group of work friends and not once did the topic of work come up. That never happens! Whether it was sitting on the dock enjoying a morning coffee, relaxing around the fire pit in the evening, enjoying the hot tub next to the ocean or just sitting in the living room, every minute we spent here was just perfect. We’re already planning our return trip for next year!
We stayed at September 2020. With the pandemic crushing our dream trip to Nashville we decided to do our long sought after girls trip right here at home. After long hours of googling, causing Air B&B and review reading, we found what we were looking for ... the perfect getaway. A place off the beaten track, nestled in the woods yet close to the water giving 8 of us girls plenty of room to relax and unwind.
The place is fabulous ... from the spectacular (spotless) house, to the patio/firepit area to the kayaks at the wharf. There were so many thoughtful touches - towels for swimming, blankets for the cool nights at the fire, pillows for all the deck chairs with storage boxes to keep them from the elements. The staff that take care of the property are very friendly and respond quickly if needed.
We had the most perfect weekend - a much needed "retreat" away from the craziness with the best peeps! In fact, we loved it so much, we have a "do over" booked for this September!
It's a must on anyone's bucket list !!
I think I may have found my new “happy place.” We got married in Trinity, and this house was the perfect place for immediate family to stay. The fire pit outside is probably my favourite feature. The kitchen is great for cooking group meals, spacious and open. Pool table below is an added fun bonus!! Loved it and would highly recommend
