Last week we spent and amazing few days at Goose Cove Retreat for executive meetings. From the moment you walk in you feel the warmth of a home away from home....only much nicer! The kitchen flow is designed to make meal prep a social event. The owner has thought of every detail - from quality linens, to robes, to wood ready to light for the fireplace. The setting was the perfect backdrop for some of the most productive meetings our group has ever had. I left the retreat relaxed and revitalized. I will return for both business and pleasure.
Goose Cove is a first class retreat. I recently stayed with a group of friends and colleagues. We felt completely at home, except unlike my real home, Goose Cove was filled with touches of luxury. The gourmet kitchen, crackling fire and big comfy couches were my favorite parts but I suspect the hot tub and terraces could easily take first place on another visit.
We stayed at Goose Cove in October of 2011 while traveling on business. It was a perfect place for a high level meeting and a beautiful escape from the city. Goose Cove had all the details covered. The warm and inviting open concept home is wonderfully set up for social gatherings in a wonderfully peaceful setting. Even after just one night, I felt much more relaxed than when I arrived. The home accommodated our group of eight perfectly and had all the attention to detail of a luxurious stay that you could ever want.
We came here to get away from the city and house renovations for a weekend and went home relaxed and revitalized! It has everything you could ever need to feel right at home and then the little extras (hot tub, sauna, real fireplace) that makes it feel like your living in the lap of luxury! The scenery is beautiful - a ten minute drive to the coastal Skerwink Trail in Port Rexton which boasts amazing views and numerous sea stacks. Lots of places around to replenish the fridge and find whatever you may have forgotten at home. We will be returning here again sometime soon, I hope!
We had a three day visit with our immediate family, so there were several different ages and personalities, but the house was so well laid out that we all had our privacy (when we wanted it). Goose Cove Retreat is within Trinity yet in a private beautiful setting on the water. We were overwhelmed by everything - beautiful, large, clean house; comfortable beds; full executive kitchen; relaxing, private setting; great patios and hot tub. Nearby Trinity has plenty to offer day or night.
