Just got back from an unforgettable weekend at Goose Cove Retreat. We couldn’t of asked for a more amazing weekend.
The hot tub was so lovely in the woods overlooking the ocean. If you go in the morning you’ll see the sun rise!
The beds are the most comfortable beds you will ever sleep in.
We spent every evening by the bonfire pit under the stars - it was so peaceful.
The dock on the ocean is a nice touch. We were able to have a yoga instructor lead us through a class for 6 of us on the dock every morning ❤️
There is so much privacy there -you really feel like you are on a retreat, completely disconnected from the outside world.

Jaw dropping from the moment you arrive at the property. Perched on a hilltop overlooking a protected bay, Goose Cove Retreat has it all. Just minutes from historic Trinity, yet a world away in a tranquil and private ocean side resort. We enjoyed our family getaway by kayaking on the bay, soaking it up in the hot tub and roasting marshmallows by the fire pit. The property boasts every amenity imaginable including four unique bedrooms, media room, billiards/meeting room, gourmet kitchen, sauna, wood burning fireplace and much more. It was the perfect home base for short excursions to Trinity, Port Rexton, the Skerwink Trail, Elliston and Bonavista. The wild life was incredible with whales, puffins, bald eagle, rabbits and more, all a stone's throw away. Gerry and Jim were fantastic hosts and added to the unforgettable experience. You have to stay here to believe it. Bravo!

They are a wonderful couple who are always a delight to see on arrival(Property Managers). Thanks again for a wonderful weekend and we will be back again this fall and Christmas !
The house was just great and has a construction that is totally different from other canadian houses - by quality and style. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need for a gourmet barbecue. Not even a dozen of sharp knifes are missing. The soundsystem includes the bathrooms and the outside, the fireplace in the garden is a delight. We were very friendly welcomed and introduced to the house by June.
The Goose Cove Retreat is as incredible as it looks in pictures. Gerri gave us great directions and met us at the home for a grand tour. When we asked about getting lobsters, she called a local fisherman who delivered lobsters caught that day directly to our door for a great price. Amazing service!
The house itself is incredible. Hot tub. Sauna. Fire pit. Canoes to use (we canoed to Trinity!). Fireplace. Pool table. And the speaker system, wow...connect your phone and play music in ANY room in the house and the outside patio - it's perfect. And the kitchen!
If you're looking for a place to "get away from it all", but with 5-star amenities, this is your place. What an experience!
